This is probably one of the best book pre-order experiences I've ever had. I wasn't part of the initial crowdfunding but I got the opportunity to preorder the deluxe box package and I have no regrets. I was sent and read the digital copy and the book is amazing! This version of The Phantom of the Opera is more than just a gender swap. The author created unique protagonists that I couldn't help but root for as individuals and as a couple. The way Celine was able to change perspectives was seamless and the story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was also so beautiful & romantic. I enjoyed all the extras I got. The quil and ink bottle are of very high quality. The prints and artwork are exquisite. I did run into an issue where the Vellum inserts were missing. But I was able to reach out to the author and in a couple of days she responded. She was very kind and understanding and about a week later I got the missing items. I highly recommend this novel, especially to fans of other versions of The Phantom of the Opera. Now more than ever we need to support human writers and artists. This set was made with so much love and care, it truly deserves to be enjoyed.
The hard cover edition is beautiful. I ordered for my 20 yr old daughter as a Christmas gift. The art work is so lovely. She actually got me the paper back edition for Christmas ( great minds think alike) . I am looking forward to reading it together. This will be our first book by Celine.
Got this as a gift for my wife who is a huge phantom of the Opera fan. She absolutely loves it!

Absolutely loved the story. It was cozy, different and funny. The artwork is absolutely stunning and I kept reading, giddy to find the next artwork. It was a perfect combination. I loved the vibe. A truly relaxing read. Very well written.

I truly enjoyed this book. The story and characters were compelling, and I particularly appreciated the beautiful artwork and overall aesthetic of the book. As someone with Autism, it was quite refreshing to read about a neurodivergent character.
