I can't believe how gorgeous this book turned out! I'm a huge Phantom of the Opera girly, so this book was an automatic buy. It exceeded expectations and is definitely going on display! The art and the foiling definitely elevated its appeal. I'm obsessed and can't wait to read!
Urban Fantasy with a difference. We see more of PIya (this is volume 2 in the series) and the strange world of the East Asian supernaturals. Piya is an unlikely and charming heroine, she loves pets, she has dogs, tortoises, rabbits, and adopts a forest spirit. She also gets to know a tiger and help him out, Her magic gifts seem modest. but I suspect there is more going on than meets the eye. Who are her real parents? I feel there are surprises in store for her in the next books in the series. I am off to find out.
