Now that Apiya has put Sarroch in a tough spot, they must get to the Weretiger Realm and finish the bonding before the next full moon, which is only days away. But once they get there, they find out there is something attached to him that needs to be removed in order to not only complete their bond but also keep Apiya and everyone else near him safe. To do that, they must travel to the Underworld and of course that comes with complications no one expected as well.
Apiya has to be the most loyal friend ever to stick to by Sarroch after the events during this book. She's the kind of person you want in your corner when you need help. We get to meet Pree, her childhood best friend in this book and boy is she something else! She is definitely a good friend for Apiya and doesn't hesitate to jump headfirst into helping her, even though Apiya tries to keep her in the dark. Apiya definitely gets a taste of her own medicine with Pree. And once again, Hunter manages to be her guardian angel!
This book has a little bit of everything! There is humor, banter, action, emotions and we get an almost resolution to the series. There are several moments of wondering how the heck Apiya will get out of the trouble she is in, and I wasn't even sure she could close to the end! There wasn't as much lore but there was some traveling with more of the Asian setting and again the world building was phenomenal. I love reading about the places in these books and I even had to look up a picture of the monastery in this book to see just how incredible it really was. With one book left in this series, I can't wait to see how it all ends.

I loved it! I couldn't put it down! The characters are all brilliant! I even love the wet sock! And it has PICTURES! I wasn't even done with chapter 4 and was telling all of my book friends that they should read it. Can't wait for number 2!
