First of all, the hardcover edition itself is beatiful. The artwork is gorgeous, the foiling and sprayed edges are beautiful and i love the inverted colours for the chapter beginnings. It is a great way to distinguish the chapter beginnings.
The story itself was well told and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I love the re-telling with Ada seen as an outcast for essentially being smart and inventive and Eric actually feeling for her not for her looks but her brains. The "phantom" being the opera house owner and an inventor herself was a great twist. And in the end i appreciate that even the "phantom" was not alone.
