Street Team

Welcome! I'm so excited you want to join my new street team! 

If you love talking about books, and you enjoy a little friendly competition with the chance to win bookish prizes, I think you'll enjoy this. My plan is also to turn this into a fun bookish community. If you want to apply to join right away, the form is here. Or read on for more details: 

The idea with this group is that the more you participate, the more points you earn, and the greater your chance to win books and other rewards! 

Monthly Giveaways

At the end of every month, I will hold a raffle for active team members. You will be entered into different prize tiers based on the level of activity you achieved that month.

  • Tier Advancement: When you qualify for a higher prize tier, you are automatically entered into the giveaway for that tier and all the tiers below it, to maximise your chances to win.

  • Prize Choice: There will be stickers, a notebook, a paperback, and a plain hardcover to win each month. If the group is small there will be one of each to win, if the group is larger, I'll add multiples of each. 

Special Prize for the Top Earner

The reader who submits the highest number of points in a given month will be recognised as the month's Top Earner and will get to choose one physical book as their prize, no raffle necessary. 

Types of Point-Earning Activities:

  1. Requesting a book at your local library

  2. Sharing on social media: I'll provide a library of graphics that you can use on your personal social media channels - or of course you can post your own graphics if you prefer! (points are per post per channel)

  3. Posting in reader groups: Posting about my books in reader-focused groups (e.g., Facebook groups, forums, book reddits) or book clubs - that type of thing. (points are per post per group)

You can track your activities using a simple tracker that I'll provide so you can keep a tally of your points. At the end of each month, I'll ask everyone to submit their total number of points earned, and I'll then run the raffles and announce the winners and prizes. 

The community: 

I like the idea of turning this into a fun bookish community, so I will host the street team as a group chat on Instagram, so that we have a place where we can all hang out.
