Hunting with Magic - Ebook #2

This second book in the series is a big hit with me. I am becoming emotionally attached to the characters in the odd faction. Pree is incredible and I see a huge potential in with Crystal.

I enjoy this series, and so glad to get this latest book

While the comedic elements take center stage, we find engaging characters, exciting plots, and creative world-building... you won't be disapointed with this book that's so engaging right from the start that kept me hooked right through it...

Hunting With Magic is fantastic!
The heroine, Pree, is wonderful. She's quirky; she occasionally feels totally inadequate, but she'll do what needs done anyway. Always up for helping the underdog, she often finds herself in deep trouble, but she'll fight for her people, and her hyena bestie, regardless of the cost to herself.
You won't want to miss this one.
I absolutely loved this book and wish there were more stars available to give it.

I loved the story because the characters are quirky, there is always character growth and inventive dialogue. I know the story will have a good ending, but I enjoy all the plot twists, turns and surprises.

Hunting With Magic is a great continuation of Pree's story. She is such a cool character, rather encouraging, really, because she is always standing tall and manages to have amazing self-confidence and clarity about her flaws and quirks at the same time.
In this second book we get to know her even better, learn more about Ben, her new roommate, and her family, and get introduced to a new member of Pree's faction, Crystal, who is an equally quirky (although in quite different ways) character with lots of inner contradictions that make her relatable and well-rounded.
The story itself is fast-paced and keeps you reading.
So, all in all, an enjoyable follow-up that's making me look forward to the next book in the series!

Another great entry by Celine JeanJean in Priscilla's story. I would have loved to give this 5 stars but I didn't quite love it. I just don't feel the love for Penelope. To bear the plot around her didn't work for me. Also, I'm American and the British culture, grammer and slang don't flow for me. I mentally stumble over a lot in this book. BUT! I do love the quirky characters, I will keep reading the series because I'm not so patiently waiting for them to kick some butt.

I missed Priscilla so much! It was great to be back in London with this little band of misfits. Watching them come together as their little found family grows and those within the faction gain a little more comfort with each other and themselves. It's wonderful, heart warming, hilarious, and now an introduction of potential love interest?! I need the next one NOW!
